Physical Infrastructure for VoIP

VoIP is having a major impact on the way in which Data Centers are designed, built and operated today. This course compares the different elements and challenges of traditional telephone systems and VoIP systems, and explores the emerging NCPI best practices for VoIP installations in Data Centers. It explains basic VoIP system sections (layers), VoIP devices, and installation issues. It also identifies NCPI solutions for Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) and Main Distribution Frame (MDF).
